PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT
We offer developmentally appropriate classes for children ages 2-4 years old. Your child must be the age of the class they are entering by September 1, 2010 (for the 2010-2011 school year). For example to enter the Three Year Old class your child will need to turn 3 years old by September 1st.
We are very excited to be a Voluntary Pre Kindergarten (VPK) provider. This program allows all Florida Residents with children that are age 4 by September 1st to participate in a quality Pre Kindergarten program free of charge. For more information on this program check out their website at www.elcoc.org.
We begin fall enrollment in February each year; but continually enroll throughout the school year. Please call the preschool office to find out what spaces may be available.
OUR CURRICULUM
We use the WEE Learn Curriculum in all of our classes. It is a Christian, theme based curriculum that focuses on the whole child’s development including spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and gross motor development.
In addition to WEE Learn we also use a developmentally appropriate handwriting curriculum in our Pre K 4 classes – Handwriting With Out Tears (www.hwtears.com). This program is a wonderful way to teach children handwriting skills in a fun and age appropriate way.
OUR TEACHING STAFF
Our teaching staff is experienced professionals, participating in 10 hours per year of continuing education courses, in addition to the 45 hours of initial training received through the Florida State Department of Children and Families. All of our lead teachers hold Child Development Associates (CDA) or Degrees. To find out more about our teachers click on the link to the right.
